Do you like eating candy canes? Love reindeer in the snow and look for layered cut designs. My latest reindeer candy cane design has 3 layers for a stunning 3D design. The first layer is the background, with the candy cane hole and Santa Claus and his sleigh in the distance. Next, you have a second layer with the reindeer family, stars and moon, and finally a third layer with the reindeer to make the design pop, with the snowflake design on top of the numbers!
For the Christmas countdown calendar pictured, I painted the wood before cutting it.
You can speed up production if you only use the first two layers, by engraving the stars and moon instead of cutting, and not using the last layer and cutting the reindeer family again. See the picture to see what I mean!
They make great gifts for family and friends, and are a top seller at craft fairs and a top seller in the marketplace.
